Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and slice the tomato and red onion. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Place the patties on the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers with fries or your choice of side.
