Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with water until a dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

  3. 3

    Form the Pot Stickers

Divide the rested dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Roll each ball out into thin circles (about 3 inches in diameter). Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle, fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal.

  4. 4

    Fry the Pot Stickers

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place pot stickers in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Add a splash of water (about 1/4 cup) to the skillet and cover immediately to steam for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the pot stickers from the skillet and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
