Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Thinly slice the beef flank steak against the grain into strips and place in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and pepper to taste. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Noodles

Soak the wide rice noodles in hot water for about 10 minutes or until softened. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Aromatics

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the drained rice noodles to the skillet, followed by the cooked beef, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, bean sprouts, and chopped green onions. Stir-fry everything together for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Taste and adjust with more soy sauce or black pepper if needed. Serve hot and enjoy your Beef Chow Fun!
