Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea

If you prefer sweetened tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the warm tea and stir until dissolved. You can adjust the sweetness to your taste.

Chilling the Tea

Allow the brewed tea to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
