Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Start by preparing the pork ribs. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and rinse them under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice mix all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Marinate

Place the seasoned ribs in a large bowl or zip-top bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine Sweet Boss Sauce, brown sugar, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

  5. 5

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Use a wood of your choice, such as hickory or applewood, for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down. Smoke for approximately 3 hours, maintaining the temperature, until they are tender.

  7. 7

    Glaze the Ribs

After 3 hours, brush the ribs with the prepared sauce. Continue to smoke for an additional hour, glazing the ribs every 15 minutes.

  8. 8

    Finish and Serve

Once the ribs are caramelized and have a beautiful glaze, remove them from the smoker. Let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional Sweet Boss Sauce on the side.
