Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the melted chocolate and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.

  4. 4

    Add Whipped Cream

Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

  5. 5

    Fill the Crust

Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  6. 6

    Chill the Pie

Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once set, slice the pie and serve chilled. Optionally, top with additional whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
