Hot Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Hot Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture until well-coated.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the breaded chicken in the oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread Mike’s Hot Honey on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Add fried chicken, coleslaw, sliced tomato, and house pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the sandwich with a side of French fries, if desired.
