Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Ketchup

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix together ketchup, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside.

Make the Celery Slaw

  1. 2

In a separate bowl, combine chopped celery, mayonnaise, and hot sauce. Mix well and set aside.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

In a skillet, cook bacon strips over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make the Burger Patties

  1. 4

Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and season with salt and pepper. Form into loose balls.

  2. 5

Heat a skillet or griddle over high heat. Place two balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side.

  3. 6

Flip the patties, place a slice of cheese on each patty, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts. Remove from heat.

Fry the Eggs

  1. 7

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry to your desired doneness (sunny-side up is recommended).

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

On the bottom half of each burger bun, layer the smashed patties, followed by bacon, a fried egg, celery slaw, and pickle matchsticks.

  2. 9

Spread Bloody Mary ketchup on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the burger to complete.
