Directions
- 1
Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- 2
Make the Smash Patties
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into two equal portions and shape into balls. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the meat balls onto the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until desired doneness.
- 3
Assemble the Burger
Spread a generous amount of creamy peanut butter on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place the cooked smash patty on top, followed by a spoonful of strawberry habanero jam. Add crispy bacon on top of the jam.
- 4
Serve with Chips
Top with the other half of the burger bun. Serve the burgers with house rippled potato chips on the side.
