Creamy Chicken Gravy
Method
Stuffed Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Stuff the Chicken
Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing it horizontally. Be careful not to cut all the way through. Fill each pocket generously with the apple sage stuffing.
- 3
Season and Sear
Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 4
Bake the Chicken
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
