Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Angus Beef Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Angus beef patty with salt and black pepper on both sides. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  2. 2

    Melt the Swiss Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the patty, place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the patty. Cover with a lid to help melt the cheese.

Sautéing Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms and Onions

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and chopped onion. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms are browned and the onions are translucent.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche bun lightly on the grill or skillet. On the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked Angus beef patty with melted Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
