Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the tomatoes and slice the green onions. If using fresh jalapeños, slice them into rings. Set aside.

Layer the Nachos
On a large baking tray, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.

Add Cheese
Grate the cheddar cheese and sprinkle it generously over the tortilla chips.

Evenly distribute the chopped tomatoes, jalapeños, and sliced green onions over the cheese-topped chips.
Baking

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the nachos for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Once out of the oven, let the nachos cool for a minute, then serve hot with your choice of salsa or guacamole.
