Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brussels sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored leaves. Slice the sprouts in half vertically.
- 2
Cook the bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess grease. Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Brussels sprouts
In the same skillet, remove excess bacon grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Add olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the halved Brussels sprouts, cut side down, and season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.
- 4
Add maple syrup and cheese
Drizzle the maple syrup over the sautéed Brussels sprouts and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and Parmesan cheese over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Plate and serve
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and serve warm. Enjoy your maple bacon Brussels sprouts!
