Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use. Sear the pork in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it is browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C).

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. In the same skillet, add the reserved marinade and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Slice and Serve

Slice the pork tenderloin into medallions. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the sliced pork and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
