Shrimp Marinade

Method

Marinating the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine the chopped cilantro, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using skewers, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  2. 4

    Grill the Shrimp

Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers (if using) or place them directly on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through.

Assembling the Wrap

  1. 5

    Prepare the Wrap

Lay out the wraps on a clean surface. Start by placing a generous handful of mixed greens in the center of each wrap.

  2. 6

    Add the Toppings

Top the greens with sliced avocado, grilled shrimp, and a spoonful of salsa.

  3. 7

    Wrap it Up

Fold in the sides of the wrap and then roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling. Ensure it is tightly wrapped to prevent the filling from spilling out.
