For the Chicken Wings

For the Dipping Sauce

Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help to crisp the wings.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure they become crispy when cooked.

  3. 3

    Coat the Wings

In a large bowl, add the chicken wings along with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

  4. 4

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the coated chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not touching each other to allow for even cooking.

  5. 5

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through the cooking time.

Making the Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.

  2. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Once the butter has melted, add the hot sauce, honey, minced garlic, and vinegar. Stir well to combine.

  3. 8

    Simmer the Sauce

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  4. 9

    Serve

Once the chicken wings are done baking, serve them hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
