Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Romaine Lettuce

Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with a clean towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Grate the Parmesan cheese using a cheese grater. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the chopped romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.

  3. 3

    Add Croutons

Add the house-made croutons to the salad bowl, distributing them evenly over the lettuce and cheese.

Creamy Caesar Dressing Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic clove, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  2. 5

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to taste, whisking again to incorporate the seasonings into the dressing. Adjust seasoning as necessary.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Drizzle the creamy Caesar dressing over the prepared salad in the bowl. Toss gently until the lettuce, cheese, and croutons are evenly coated with the dressing.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Caesar salad immediately, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
