Method

Croutons

  1. 1

    Prepare the Croutons

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

Drizzle the olive oil over the bread cubes and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. 3

Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Stir halfway through for even browning.

Dressing

  1. 4

    Make the Caesar Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic clove, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 5

Whisk together until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more salt or pepper if desired.

Salad Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Salad

Rinse and dry the romaine lettuce leaves, then chop them into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 7

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and toss gently to combine.

  3. 8

Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

  4. 9

Top with the homemade croutons and serve immediately.
