Method

Preparation of Haddock

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Baking Dish

Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Season Haddock

Place the haddock fillets in the baking dish. Drizzle with lemon juice, white wine, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the fillets are well coated.

Breadcrumb Topping

  1. 4

    Mix Breadcrumb Topping

In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and paprika.

  2. 5

    Apply Topping

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the seasoned haddock fillets.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake Haddock

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the haddock is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing Sides

  1. 7

    Cook Green Beans

While the fish is baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender, then drain.

  2. 8

    Prepare Potatoes

You can either boil the diced potatoes until tender (about 10-15 minutes) or roast them in the oven for the last 20 minutes of the fish's baking time.
