Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) to ensure it's hot enough for the biscuits to rise properly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until evenly mixed.

Cut in the Butter
Add the cold, unsalted butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Shape the Biscuits
Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Gently knead the dough a few times until it comes together. Pat or roll the dough to about 1-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits.

Bake
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet, slightly touching each other. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top.

Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with butter and jelly.
