Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Heat the Sauce
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the ingredients together until well combined.

Simmer
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the sauce has thickened slightly, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Transfer to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
