Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk the Eggs

In a medium bowl, crack the three large eggs. Add one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk the eggs until well combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 2

    Prepare Toppings

Choose any three toppings from the list provided. If using bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms, dice them finely. If using spinach, rinse and chop it. If using tomatoes or jalapeños, dice or slice them respectively.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a non-stick skillet, melt one tablespoon of butter over medium heat until it starts to bubble but not brown.

  2. 4

    Add Eggs

Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to evenly distribute the eggs across the surface.

  3. 5

    Add Toppings

As the edges of the omelet begin to set (about 1-2 minutes), sprinkle your chosen toppings over one half of the omelet.

  4. 6

    Fold the Omelet

Using a spatula, lift the other half of the omelet and fold it over the toppings. Allow it to cook for another 1-2 minutes until the inside is fully cooked but still moist.

  5. 7

    Serve

Gently slide the omelet onto a plate and serve warm. Enjoy your Margaritaville Omelet!
