Marinating the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chipotle powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add the steak tips to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

In a pot, cook white rice according to package instructions. Typically, this involves boiling 4 cups of water, adding the rice, and simmering for 18-20 minutes.

Rinse the black beans under cold water and heat them in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes.
