Method

For the Roasted Half Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the whole chicken on a cutting board and carefully cut it in half using a sharp knife.

  2. 2

    Season the Chicken

Rub the chicken halves with olive oil, then season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Roast the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken halves in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of roasting.

For the Half Rack of Ribs

  1. 4

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 5

    Season the Ribs

Coat the ribs with BBQ rub, making sure to cover all surfaces evenly.

  3. 6

    Cook the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 2-3 hours, turning occasionally. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

For the French Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 8

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 9

    Bake the Fries

Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
