Method

Tuna Tartare Preparation

1

Prepare the Tuna

Dice the fresh sushi-grade tuna into small cubes and place into a mixing bowl.

2

Prepare the Avocado

Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Dice the avocado into small cubes and add to the bowl with the tuna.

3

Mix Ingredients

Add ponzu sauce, sesame oil, finely chopped green onion, and sea salt to the bowl. Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.

4

Garnish

Sprinkle black sesame seeds over the tartare for garnish.

Wonton Chips Preparation

5

Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

6

Fry the Wontons

Working in batches, carefully add wonton wrappers to the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes.

7

Drain the Chips

Using a slotted spoon, remove the wonton chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
