Method

Tuna Kabob Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Cut the sushi grade tuna into 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Tuna

In the mixing bowl, add olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to coat the tuna cubes evenly. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Skewer the Tuna

Thread the marinated tuna cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Cooking the Tuna Kabobs

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Cook the Kabobs

Place the skewers on the grill and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 6

    Remove from Heat

Once cooked, remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

White Rice Preparation

  1. 7

    Rinse the Rice

Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

  2. 8

    Cook the Rice

In a pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  3. 9

    Simmer the Rice

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

  4. 10

    Fluff the Rice

Remove from heat, let it sit covered for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.

Ginger Asparagus Preparation

  1. 11

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and set aside.

  2. 12

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.

  3. 13

    Add Ginger and Season

Add the minced fresh ginger, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
