Pasta

Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

While the pasta cooks, wash and chop all the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. You can choose to steam the broccoli florets lightly for 2-3 minutes for added tenderness.

Making the Garlic Sauce

3

Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

4

Add Vegetables

Add the chopped vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and broccoli) to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender but still crisp.

5

Season the Sauce

Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the vegetables, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

6

Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce and heated through.

7

Finish with Cheese and Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil. Toss again to combine.

Serving

8

Plate and Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired. Enjoy!
