Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cucumbers
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. Slice them into thin rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference. Place them in a mixing bowl.
- 2
Prepare the Tomato
Wash the tomato, remove the stem, and chop it into small bite-sized pieces. Add the chopped tomato to the bowl with the cucumbers.
- 3
Prepare the Seaweed
If using dried nori seaweed, cut or tear it into thin strips or small pieces. You can also use pre-prepared seaweed salads if available.
- 4
Make the Dressing
In a separate small bowl, combine the sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
- 5
Combine Ingredients
Pour the dressing over the cucumber and tomato mixture. Add the seaweed and gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the salad. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes in the refrigerator before serving to enhance the flavors.
