Sauce Preparation

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 3
Add the San Marzano tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Stir to combine.
- 4
Simmer the sauce on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
- 5
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh basil. Set aside to cool.
Pizza Assembly
- 6
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) or use a pizza stone if you have one.
- 7
Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape, about 12 inches in diameter.
- 8
Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 9
Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread a generous amount of the prepared tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 10
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- 11
Distribute the sliced green peppers, cremini mushrooms, and pepperoni evenly on top of the cheese.
- 12
Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 13
Once done, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
