Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped fresh rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the striploin steak, ensuring it is evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grilling the Steak

  1. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned striploin steak on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  2. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, chop the zucchini, bell pepper, and asparagus into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve it alongside the grilled seasonal vegetables on a plate.
