Prepare the Ingredients

Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon strips. Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Prepare the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Adjust Consistency
If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper.
