Method

Prepare the Filling

1

Cook the Duck

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the duck breast until it reaches desired doneness, about 6-8 minutes per side for medium. Let it rest, then chop finely.

2

Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped duck, finely chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Assemble the Wontons

3

Prepare the Wontons

Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of the wrapper.

4

Seal the Wontons

Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, pressing out any air. Seal the edges tightly. You can also bring the two corners of the triangle together to form a pouch, sealing with water.

5

Repeat

Continue this process until all the filling is used up.

Cook the Wontons

6

Boil or Fry

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop in the wontons and cook for about 4-5 minutes until they float to the top. Alternatively, you can fry the wontons in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Prepare the Dipping Sauce

7

Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, honey, and sesame seeds until well blended.
