Vegetable Thai Fried Rice

Vegetable Thai Fried Rice

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Gather all the ingredients and ensure that the rice is cooked and cooled, preferably a day old for best results.

    Heat the Oil

    In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

    Sauté the Aromatics

    Add the minced garlic and diced onion to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

    Add Vegetables

    Stir in the diced tomatoes, carrots, and green peas. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

    Fry the Rice

    Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet. Break up any clumps and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, ensuring the rice is heated through.

    Season the Rice

    Pour the soy sauce over the rice and mix well. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

    Finish with Cilantro

    Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh cilantro.
