Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Noodles

Cook the chow-fan noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp and Vegetables

In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside for about 10 minutes to marinate.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Stir-Fry the Shrimp

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked chow-fan noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables, mixing well.

  4. 6

    Finish the Dish

Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet, toss everything together, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Add chopped green onions and stir to combine.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate and Serve

Serve the shrimp chow-fan noodles hot, garnishing with extra green onions if desired.
