Noodles

Pork and Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lo-mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine the pork tenderloin, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the pork and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Pork

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil and sauté the marinated pork for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, carrot, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked lo-mein noodles and stir to combine.

  4. 6

    Add the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and chicken broth. Pour the sauce over the noodle mixture and toss well to coat all the ingredients. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Remove from heat and serve the pork lo-mein hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
