Pork Marinade

Noodle and Stir-Fry Ingredients

Method

Pork Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and add to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Noodles and Stir-Fry

  1. 3

    Cook the Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in the wide rice noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry the Pork

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil. Add minced garlic, red bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Return the cooked pork to the skillet. Add in soy sauce, sugar, and chili paste (if using). Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

  5. 7

    Add Eggs and Basil

Push noodle mixture to one side of the skillet. Crack the eggs into the empty side and scramble until just set. Stir everything together and then add the chopped green onions and Thai basil. Toss gently to combine.

  6. 8

    Serve

Remove from heat, serve hot, and enjoy your Pork Drunken Noodle!
