Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the fresh lump crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined, taking care not to break up the crab meat too much.

Assemble the Crab Rangoon

  1. 2

    Fill the Wrappers

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean, dry surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. For extra security, you can fold the corners of the triangle inward towards the center and pinch to seal.

  2. 3

    Repeat

Repeat the filling and sealing process until all the filling is used, laying the finished crab rangoon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Frying

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Crab Rangoon

Carefully add a few crab rangoon to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  3. 6

    Serve

Once all crab rangoon are fried, serve them hot with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
