Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Chop the Vegetables
Slice the bell peppers and carrots into thin strips. Cut the broccoli into small florets and set all vegetables aside.
Brown Sauce

Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper. Mix well until the cornstarch is dissolved.
Cooking

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Combine and Serve
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the prepared brown sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
