Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Slice the bell pepper, carrots, and prepare the broccoli florets by cutting them into smaller pieces.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and chicken broth. Whisk until smooth.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry until they are golden brown and cooked through, around 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 6

    Add the Sauce

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  4. 7

    Finish with Cashews

Stir in the cashews and cook for another minute, allowing them to warm up in the sauce.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
