Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by preparing all the ingredients. Slice the bell pepper, carrot, and zucchini into thin strips. Mince the garlic and slice the onion. Set aside the Thai basil leaves.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

  3. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

Add the minced garlic and sliced onion to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add Vegetables

Stir in the sliced bell pepper, carrot, and zucchini. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

  5. 5

    Season the Mixture

Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine all ingredients and allow them to cook together for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add Thai Basil

Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the Thai basil leaves until wilted.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the Beef Thai Basil and Vegetable hot over steamed rice or noodles, garnished with additional basil if desired.
