Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the lo-mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Stir-fry

  1. 3

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary. Add the bell pepper, carrots, and green onions. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked beef back into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Add the bean sprouts, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, and ginger. Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.

  4. 6

    Add the Noodles

Finally, add the cooked lo-mein noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through. Serve immediately.
