Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Noodles
Boil water in a large pot. Add chow mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
- 2
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
- 3
Stir-fry the Beef
Heat a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil, then add the marinated beef. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add bell pepper, carrot, and green onions. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked beef back into the pan with the vegetables. Then, add the bean sprouts, oyster sauce, chicken broth, and sugar. Stir well to combine all ingredients and heat through for about 2 minutes.
