Method

Prepare Noodles

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

In a large pot, bring 1 litre of water to a boil. Add 250g of egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Marinate Beef

  1. 2

    Marinate the Beef

Slice 200g of beef sirloin into thin strips. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Add the beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

While the beef is marinating, slice 1 medium bell pepper and 1 medium carrot into thin strips. Chop 3 stalks of green onions, keeping the white and green parts separate. Mince 3 cloves of garlic. Cut 100g of broccoli into small florets.

Cook the Dish

  1. 4

    Stir-Fry

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 5

    Add Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the white parts of the green onions, minced garlic, bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. 6

    Combine Everything

Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  4. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with the green parts of the green onions, and serve hot.
