Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the jalapeno, dice the tomatoes, and slice the onion.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped jalapeno, onion, and tomatoes. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the tomatoes have softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork Steak

Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the pork ribeye steak. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with the sautéed vegetables on top, alongside a portion of rice and beans, and sprinkle with crumbled panela cheese.
