Crepe Batter
Method
Crepe Preparation
- 1
Make the Crepe Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, water, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Crepes
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of the crepe batter into the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom evenly. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to lift, then flip and cook for another minute. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- 3
Fill the Crepes
Spread Nutella or cream cheese on one half of each crepe. Fold the crepe over the filling and then fold again to form a triangle.
- 4
Serve
Top the filled crepes with your choice of fruit and drizzle with chocolate, caramel, lechera, or cajeta.
