Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until fully combined.
- 2
Form and Cook the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- 3
Add the Sauce
Once the meatballs are browned, pour Mama's Tomato Basil Sauce over them. Bring to a simmer and cover. Let it braise for about 20 minutes.
- 4
Cook the Spaghetti
Meanwhile, cook the organic spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly, combine the spaghetti with the sauce and meatballs. Toss to coat evenly. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
