Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix the Meatball Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground prime beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.

Add Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella
Remove the meatballs from the oven and pour your favorite tomato sauce over them. Top with slices of fresh mozzarella.

Broil the Meatballs
Return the meatballs to the oven and set the broiler to high. Broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
