Method

Pastry Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and mix it with milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Chill the Dough

After the dough has risen, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Cheese Danish Filling

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk until smooth.

  2. 4

    Prepare Blueberry Muffin Filling

In another bowl, toss fresh blueberries with sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 5

    Shape and Fill Pastries

Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface. Cut into desired shapes. For Cheese Danish, add a spoonful of the filling in the center. For Chocolate Croissant, place chocolate chips in the center and fold. For Blueberry Muffin, spoon blueberry mixture into muffin tins.

  2. 6

    Proof and Bake

Let the shaped pastries rise for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
