Method

Tandoori Chicken Tikka

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the plain yogurt, tandoori masala, minced garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix well until smooth.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Ensure that all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for deeper flavor.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Preheat your grill or oven to high heat. Skewer the marinated chicken pieces and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and slightly charred.

Beef Kabob

  1. 4

    Marinate the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the cubed beef sirloin and mix well to coat. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 5

    Skewer the Beef

Preheat the grill. Thread the marinated beef onto skewers, ensuring not to overcrowd them. Grill the kabobs for about 10-12 minutes, turning frequently until cooked to your desired doneness.

Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Salad

In a bowl, combine diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, and finely chopped red onion. Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Toss gently to mix.

Rice

  1. 7

    Cook the Rice

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, bring water to a boil, add salt, and then add the rice. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.

Naan

  1. 8

    Heat the Naan

Warm the store-bought naan in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until heated through.
