Preparation
- 1
Soak Skewers (if using wooden skewers)
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
- 2
Prepare Marinade
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and chopped parsley until well combined.
- 3
Marinate Lamb
Add cubed lamb to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
- 4
Marinate Shrimp
In a separate bowl, add shrimp to the remaining marinade and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Assembly
- 5
Prepare Vegetables
Cut bell peppers and red onion into chunks, and rinse cherry tomatoes. Set aside.
- 6
Assemble Kabobs
On each skewer, alternate threading lamb, shrimp, bell peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. Leave some space between each ingredient for even cooking.
Grilling
- 7
Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 8
Grill Kabobs
Place the assembled kabobs on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the lamb is cooked through and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- 9
Serve
Remove kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Lamb & Shrimp Kabob Combo!
